For my card today I am using the colors Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Whisper White – I wanted to create a bold, clean and simple card using these two stamp sets to show you just how well they work together.
I stamped my flowers and then scored a line above and a line below them to give some texture – using score lines is a very simple way to upscale your cards and add a little wow factor.
I stamped my sentiment from the set You’re a Gem and punched and layered it using my 1″ and 1 1/4″ Circle Punches. Now I just LOVE that sentiment – and what is the perfect embellishment to add to a card using it? Rhinestones! And so into the center of each of my flowers I put a little Rhinestone gem.
You get an assortment of 150 sparkly Rhinestones in the Basic Rhinestones package featured on pg 188 of the Catalog for just $4.95 – and they also have glue dots attached making using them super easy to use – simply pull off and stick in place!
To finish my card I decided to add a piece of Rich Razzleberry 5/8″ Satin Ribbon – this ribbon is just beautiful to work with and gives a real touch of luxury to your cards – and there you have one easy, clean and simple card…

That stem stamp in Bold Blossom? Some additional ways for using it – that stamp can be used with flower stamps from other sets – or you could add a punched flower or heart to the top of it – and you can even turn this stamp around and use it as a branch and perch a bird on it! You can also use just the ‘thank you’ part of that sentiment by coloring it with markers and stamping.
