Black and white cards just seem to be so elegant and they are so quick and easy to make…

And when you use a combo of dry and wet embossing you can make a card look extra special and still keep it quick and easy to make – honestly!

Today I wanted to create a black and white card using a silhouette image and this is what I came up with…it literally took me 15 minutes to create from start to finish…

My colors are simply Whisper White and Basic Black – and check out that gorgeous frame – doesn’t it just set that image off beautifully?

And SO easy to create using the Big Shot and Framed Tulips Embossing Folder that you can find on pg 28 of the Occasions Mini Catalog – this has become my favorite embossing folder and I am going to be using it for years to come.

My image is from the set Just Believe – a gorgeous set that you can find on pg 109 of the Catalog – and I simply stamped it using Versamark Ink onto my card stock and then sprinkled on Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool – this technique is quick, fun and an easy way to get upscale your card into a ‘wow’ one!

Just starting out? You can find all supplies you need to get wet embossing on pgs 195-196 of the Catalog – and when you purchase them during Sale-a-bration and you’ll get freebies on your order too – click here to find out more!

I cut my image to size, matted it and then added it to my card base using Dimensionals to create more of a framed picture look – and that is all there is to it – one very quick and simple all-occasion card.

I also decided to add a little something to the inside of my card – I embossed another image from the set Just Believe and used my large Oval Punch to cut it out and make a feature of it…

I LOVE the elegance of it…and here are the images included in that beautiful stamp set Just Believe – it is a beautiful all occasion stamp set…
