Firstly big apologies for not posting often this week…LOTS going on on the home front…it’s all good stuff but has taken up alot of time and left me with very little time to tend to my blog…

More details to tell about that hopefully on Monday…now I’m back on track but had a HUGE creative block this morning…after not doing alot of papercrafting this week I just couldnt think of what to make!

So I decided to make a card again creating a background using paper from that beautiful new pack Paisley Petals featured in the Spring is Blossoming Promotion…and this is what I came up with…

My card uses the colors Early Espresso, Old Olive & Whisper White…LOVE this combo.

I created a textured background using my Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and onto this added a strip of patterned paper from Paisley Petals DSP which I edged using my Scallop Edge Border Punch

I stamped my mushrooms using a stamp from Funky Four (pg 93) – I used my Markers to color in those mushrooms on the rubber stamp to get that two tone color effect – and then I added some cute teeny tiny Pearls onto the spots on two of them.

I cut this image to size and mounted it using Dimensionals onto another white layer around which I tied a piece of Early Espresso 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon.

For finishing touches I added a Scallop trimmed piece of white just peeking out from beneath my patterned paper layer and stamped a sentiment using a stamp from Fabulous Phrases (pg 149) – I punched it out using my 1″ Circle Punch and matted it onto a 1 1/4″ Circle and added it to my card – click on the photo below to get a closer view of the dimension…
