There is one Stamp Set in the Holiday Mini Catalog that features the most beautiful fir tree…

And that set is Christmas Lodge that you can find on pg 29 – it is just a GORGEOUS stamp set – and that tree is a big stamp measuring around 4″ x 3″ making it perfect for being a focal point…

Because you can use this large stamp as your main focal point, it makes it super easy to make a bunch of cards quickly, especially when you stick with just 2 main colors…here is my card…

My card uses the colors Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke and the sentiment is stamped using Early Espresso to give an impact over that tree…

My card base is Very Vanilla onto which is layered a piece of Always Artichoke that I textured using my Big Shot & Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder

I then tied around a piece of beautiful Always Artichoke Seam Binding and tied in a bow on the side – working with Seam Binding is so easy – it ties into a bow very easily because it is so soft to work with – love it!

I then stamped my tree, trimmed it to size and added it to my card base using Dimensionals.  I decided to keep my tree clean & simple but you can easily add some bling if you want to – here are some ideas:

Finally I stamped my sentiment using that beautiful Merry Christmas sentiment which is also included in Christmas Lodge – I then trimmed it using my Paper Trimmer and cut a V in one end with my Paper Snips…and finally added it to my card using Dimensionals so that it is laying above the tree.

I really couldn’t decide whether to add a sentiment to this card or leave it without one, as I love a clean & simple look – but in the end I decided to and love how it turned out…here is a photo of it before I added that sentiment…

Which do you prefer?

Here are the images you get in this beautiful set Christmas Lodge – it is a set of 6 and is available in both Wood & Clear Mount versions…click on the picture below to view it in the online store…

Love the card. I like the one without the sentiment best, but both are beautiful.
