Well, what another action packed week that left no time to play with paper, ink & stamps!!!

Our house was listed for sale last Friday evening…we had 7 viewings over the weekend (I spent most of Sunday afternoon in the car reading my book with the cat!!!)…an offer on Monday…and on Wednesday afternoon our house went under contract…and then onto inspections and fingers crossed for the sale to go through!

But finally the calm has come, albeit temporarily…my hubby has taken the girls camping for the weekend and my order of brand new Stampin Up goodies arrived last evening and that meant that today I got to play…hehehehe…and let me tell you it is SO quiet in this house today!!!

So what was in my Stampin order that arrived last evening? Some Sneak Peak goodies from the Summer Smooches suite that will debut in the big new Catalog coming this Summer including a super cute set called Bright Blossoms…and some new Sale-a-bration freebies…making one very happy stamper!

I decided to use my new goodies to make a springtime feeling card to include in my Monthly Club members packages this month and here it is…

Check out that CUTE Flower in the Vase – those are just two of the stamps featured in the new Sneak Peak set Bright Blossoms -I inked them up using my Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade and Real Red Markers and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock.

That cute tulip flower?  I stamped it separately and cut it out using my sharp Paper Snips and added it using a Dimensional to give it a more realistic 3-d look.

Want some FABULOUS news? You too will be able to order this cute set Bright Blossoms and lots of other co-ordinating Summer Smooches goodies from April 1st through the 30th as part of the Summer Smooches Limited Time Offer!

See that beautiful Embossed Frame around my Flower Vase? SO easy to create using the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folders and it makes my stamped image look just like a painting…

And the BEST bit is that right now you can get those Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folders for FREE with a $50 order! That’s right…they are featured on pg 13 of the Sale-a-bration Brochure and you get 2 in the package – the one I used above and another beautiful oval frame – but HURRY – Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st meaning you have less than 2 weeks to get the freebies!

To make this really easy to do I simply cut rectangles of Whisper White cardstock to measure 2 7/8″ x 2 2/8″ and then popped each into the embossing folder, ran it through my Big Shot and stamped my image onto it after that…

Then I simply cut an Early Espresso mat to be sized 3″ x 2 3/8″ and added my framed layer to it using Dimensionals.

Finally I adhered it to my card base and added a sentiment – I used the ‘thanks’ stamp from Fabulous Phrases that you can find on pg 163 and voila…there you have one clean & simple card with a beautiful splash of springtime!

Here are the shapes you get in that pack of Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folder

You can find those beautiful Designer Frames Textured Impressions Folders on pg 13 of the Sale-a-bration Brochure and they are just one of the items that you can choose for FREE with a $50 purchase through March 31st…

WOW! you sold your house in 3 days?! Around here, homes sit on the market for a minimum of 2 months. We are buying a house in April that went on the market 6 months ago!
