And I just LOVE it!!!  Ribbons are some of my favorite embellishments because they easily dress up a card & you can create so many different looks using them…

Sooo today I used some of those beautiful Stitched Satin Ribbons on my card below to show you another different way that you can use them…I say I used some of them…actually I used every color that is available and I LOVE how they work so well all together…

Isn’t that cute???  Now the EAGLE EYED amongst you will notice that stamp that I used isn’t in the Stampin Up catalog…hehehehe…that is one stamp from a sneak peak set called ‘Feel Goods’ that we were given at Founders Circle from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog that debuts early in 2013…and I just love it…

So my card details…my card base is Early Espresso onto which I added a layer of Whisper White – I then cut another piece of Whisper White to be sized 5 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ and this is the strip that I adhered my ribbons to the back of…

I took my collection of beauitful In Color 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbons and cut two pieces from each spool to give me a total of 10 pieces…using my sharp fabric scissors, I cut a V shape into one end of each and then laid them out until I was happy with my up & down design…

I then used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere each to the back of the strip of cardstock and once done, used Dimensionals to adhere this strip to my card base…click on the photo below for a larger view…

I then stamped my sentiment from Feel Goods using Early Espresso Ink and cut it to size, adding it to my card using Dimensionals…

But it needed a little something something because it was just too plain in that panel…and so I found the perfect little swirly butterfly stamp in the Hostess set Four Seasons (pg 203 of the main Catalog) and stamped it using Raspberry Ripple ink, punched it out using my 1″ Circle Punch and added it to my card…

But it needed more…and so I added a cute In Color Dahlia (pg 175) which gave me just that extra and perfectly co-ordinating finishing touch…

I love this look and what a great different way to use your ribbons…this card is going to a very special friend later today to brighten up her day…I hope it works!
