There are some stamps in the set Word Play that I just use over and over making it a fabulous set for my collection…

The only problem is that sets like Word Play are pretty expensive and you might not buy a set like that because you might think that you won’t use all the stamps in the set and don’t want to waste your money…

BUT you know that there are some stamps in that set that you would LOVE to have…well, you know what?

NOW YOU CAN BUY THEM INDIVIDUALLY – just pick & choose those that you love & need to have!!!

That’s right – from now through 2nd January Stampin’ Up! is giving YOU the chance to purchase individual stamps from a selection of sets!  CLICK HERE to find out what those stamp sets are and get your ‘must have’ stamps!

So of course because of this great opportunity I just had to dig out Word Play and over the next few weeks will be giving you some inspiration for using these Single Stamps…here is my first card…

I just LOVE how simple this card turned out…I used Fall colors & it has a real masculine look which I always struggle to create but think I got it right here…and I love that fun panel of color down the side…another super quick & easy card to make and a great candidate for batch making…read on for the deets…

My card base is Early Espresso onto which I layered a piece of Cajun Craze…and then onto that a layer of Whisper White…

Pretty Paper Strips…I then cut three pieces of Designer Series Papers- two of the papers are from Orchard Harvest DSP (pg 28 of the Holiday Catalog) and although I could have gotten another piece from it, I really wanted to add some yellow to my card and found the perfect piece to use in Birds of a Feather DSP…

Like that beautiful button? It is from Brushed Bronze Designer Buttons (pg  32 of the Holiday Catalog) and these buttons are just GORGEOUS!!!  I threaded through a piece of Linen Thread, tied it in a knot and trimmed the edges to give that fanned out look…

SARAH’S TIP – when attaching buttons, use Mini Glue Dots – they are easy to position onto the back of your button AND they are clear so you don’t see any adhesive through the holes!

The Sentiment…yep, it’s from the set Word Play and is just one of the stamps that you can purchase individually.  I love ‘Wish Big’ because you can use it not just for birthday cards but also for good luck, new job, going to school/college, graduation cards AND in scrapbooking too…

I simply stamped it using Early Espresso Ink, trimmed it to size and added it to my card using Dimensionals…

You can buy Wish Big on it’s own and it is priced at $4.95 CLICK HERE to view it in the online store…
