I came across some super cute Ghost shaped Marshmallows the other day and as soon as I saw them, knew exactly what I was going to use them for…

We have a camp trip just before Halloween and I decided to make up some cute Halloween themed S’mores packages for the kids – although I think they would be a hit with the adults too!

So I got to thinking about how to package my S’mores kits and realised that Stampin’ Up! carries THE perfect product for the job – the Decorative Window Gift Box – which is featured on pg 36 of the Holiday Catalog…

And as soon as I assembled a box I got REALLY excited because realized that those Ghost marshmallows might peak through the window of the box!  So I popped two in there and they do!  And it is SO CUTE!!!

The food safe Decorative Window Gift Boxes come in a pack of 6 for just $4.95 – item code 132146 – click HERE to find them in the online store.

They are die cut and pre-scored and all you have to do is fold along the score lines, tuck in the flaps and you are ready to fill the box with goodies – and YES – the acetate window is already there too – AND that cute white scallop pattern around it is also pre-printed – making it super easy to put a batch of these together – you could do a bunch of them in minutes!!!

Once I had calmed myself down after the cuteness I decided to decorate the outside of the box – although to be honest I think this look is adorable without adding anything else to it!  You could simply pop your boxes together, add a layer of Graham Crackers, whatever type of Chocolate you love and two Ghost Marshmallows on the top and shut the lid – easy, fast and adorable – can you imagine the looks on faces when these are handed out?

But me being me, I just couldn’t leave it alone and so this is what I did…

I wrapped around a piece of Witches Brew Washi Tape (pg 20 Holiday Catalog) and then added two word stamped images from Oh, Goodie! (pg 32 Holiday Catalog) that I die cut out using 2 dies from Bitty Banners Framelits

The pumpkin is one of the stamps featured in the tow on the single stamp Halloween Happiness (pg 20 Holiday Catalog) – I colored him with Markers and then cut him out using my sharp Paper Snips and added him to the box with a Dimensional…

Inside the box…open the lid and this is what is inside…

It’s even cute in there!!!  Although the box is food safe, I packaged the Crackers & Ghost Marshmallows in snack sized Ziploc bags for freshness and added two snack sized Hershey Bars…

The Ghost Marshmallows…I found them in Walgreens at the end of the Seasonal aisle and they are made by Peeps – they also carry Pumpkin shapes too which would also work well…

You don’t have to go camping to make & enjoy these treats!  They would be perfect for any Halloween event…

And check out my little helper today…looks cute, doesn’t he?!

Mmm…this one will try to eat absolutely anything and he even tried tucking into a Ghost Marshmallow LOL…they are all safely locked away in the food cupboard now…

I gotta run to Walmart to see if we have any of those little ghosts at ours! They are just too cute in this little box. Oops, I just read you bought them at Walgren’s. Well, so much for that since we don’t have one in our town. Maybe my husband can find them in Des Moines when he goes to work tomorrow. Anyway, I just thought these were the cutest and a great packaging idea.
