I love the simple & natural look and today I wanted to showcase this using stamps from one of the Hostess sets featured in the Holiday Catalog…
It is called Warmth & Wonder and is featured on pg 39 – it is a set of 7 stamps and features a tree, deer, cardinal, ornaments & sentiments – you can make a wide variety of holiday cards using this one set – it is very, very versatile!
Here is the card I made using it…
The card base…is Crumb Cake onto which I layered a piece of Soft Suede which was textured using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder – a very simple and very effective look…
The sentiment…is from Warmth & Wonder and I love that font – it is simple and stylish! I stamped it using Early Espresso ink directly onto my card base.
The tree…I used two stamps from Warmth & Wonder to stamp the tree on Whisper White cardstock – the tree was stamped using Old Olive Ink and the ornaments were stamped onto that tree using my Stamp-a-majig and Cherry Cobbler ink.
Finishing touch…I wrapped around a piece of Linen Thread and finished with a bow in the front and then added this layer to my card using Dimensionals…click on the photo below for a closer look…
I just love this sweet stamp set – it is an exclusive Hostess set that you can get for FREE on your orders of $150+ – but it is only available until January 2nd 2014 so if you want one, be sure to get it before then!
Here are the images in Warmth & Wonder – aren’t they cute? And that stamp featuring a cardinal co-ordinates perfectly with the Extra Large Oval Punch (119859)
