I finally got to play with the beautiful stamps in Wonderous Wreath and WOW are they fun to use!

There are very little signs of fall here in central Texas – except for the luxurious 50 degree mornings which I am LOVING – but to get me in the fall mood, I decided to use some stamps in Wonderous Wreath to make a  4×4 sized fall themed card…

You can find Wonderous Wreath on pg 9 of the Holiday Catalog –  the reason it is so fun to use is because is has a set of co-ordinating dies called Wonderful Wreath Framelits that make cutting out those stamped images a breeze!

Here is my card…oh how I love working with fall colors…

And I cannot wait to see those colors on the trees in my backyard!!!

The card base…is sized 4×4 and is Soft Suede and onto it I layered a piece of Cajun Craze…

The wood background…is a fabulous large background stamp called Hardwood (pg 175) and it (like all background stamps) is now available in clear mount as well as wood – how cool is that?  I stamped this wood image using Soft Suede ink onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock for a strong but not overpowering look…

The wreath…that lovely wreath is made using three stamps from the set Wonderous Wreath – you layer the stamps on top of one another and to make lining them up easy, each stamp has a tab at the top that you use as a guide…

The bottom stamp was stamped using Crushed Curry Ink, the next layer Cajun Craze and the top layer of berries is Blackberry Bliss – I then die cut this wreath out using two dies from Wonderful Wreath Framelits and wow what a result…

The sentiment…is a stamp from the fall themed set Truly Grateful (pg 152) which is ON SALE THIS WEEK IN THE WEEKLY DEALS!  Get it for 25% OFF through TUESDAY – if you want one of these sets at this price, go grab it – click HERE to find it!

I then die cut out that sentiment using a banner style die from Circle Card Thinlits which fit it perfectly!

Finishing touches…I added a button from Regals Designer Buttons (pg 208) and tied a bow using a double piece of Linen Thread (pg 206)…I LOVE that double thread bow look…click on the photo below for a closer look…

I am so excited that fall is on the way – all summers in Texas feel long & hot and so the great cool down that brings cool evenings and mornings are such a treat!!!
