Yesterday I showed you a Halloween card that I made using stamps from Among the Branches…and today I am showing you my Holiday card made with the same textured background and more stamps from that fabulous set…

Here is my Holiday card…notice I am using the same color textured background as I did on my Halloween card yesterday…
Love the colors and the contemporary feel of this card…ALL stamps used on it are from the set Among the Branches which you can find on pg 39 of the Holiday Catalog.
The card base…is Real Red onto which I layered a piece of Always Artichoke.
The trees…are super simple to create using the Woodland Embossing Folder – I used this to texture my piece of Smoky Slate, just as I did yesterday…
The silver circle…is punched from the fabulously super sparkly Silver Glimmer Paper that you can find on pg 149 with my 1 3/8″ Circle Punch.
The tree branch…it looks like my stamped branch is coming right out of the textured trunk – that is how well the stamps & embossing folder go together! I stamped my branch using Smoky Slate Ink (LOVE how it looks like silver!) and then I stamped the ornaments using Always Artichoke Ink. I then used my 2 1/2″ Circle Punch to cut it out and added it to my card using Dimensionals…
The Making Spirits Bright tag…I stamped it using Real Red Ink and punched it out using my 2″ Circle Punch – what a bold fun statement this makes!
The finishing touch…I added two bows that I tied using Silver Cording Trim (pg 24 Holiday Catalog) – it ties beautifully! And I added a small piece going from the card edge to just under the first circle for continuity…
