Well, my kids had their birthday celebrations this week and when it came time to make their cards, I knew the stamp set I was going to use…they are BIG into band at school and the band mascot is a llama…so you know where I am going with this…

Yup, we now carry the perfect stamp set to use featuring a cute llama and that stamp set is called Birthday Fiesta – if you’ve not seen it, you can find it on pg 11 of the Annual Catalog or by clicking here – and what makes it even better is that is has a coordinating set of dies – Fiesta Time Framelits – making the stamps even more fun to play with!

One of my girls loves pink and the other loves blue and here are the bright & colorful cards I made for them…I just LOVE those llamas!

You will find a link to the printable/downloadable Project Sheet detailing all measurements, colors used & instructions on how to make this card below – look for the red text to find it!

These cards were so much fun to make – all stamps I used on them are from Birthday Fiesta – this includes the sentiment, llama and cacti…

PinkLlamaCard

Check out that super awesome llama up close and personal…isn’t he cute?!  The pink fabric looking bit on the back is a piece of patterned paper from Festive Birthday DSP – simply line up the llama stamp over the bit of patterned paper you want to use, stamp and cut out using sharp scissors…

Those two little flowers are die cut using a small flower die from Fiesta Time Framelits out of another bit of patterned paper from Festive Birthday – and I added a little sparkly Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the one on the cactus for a cute finishing touch…

The streamers are fun too – simple to make – just another die in Fiesta Time Framelits and some cardstock scraps – what a great way to embellish any birthday card!  And easy to add to your project using glue or Mini Glue Dots…

And here’s that blue one…the only differences are the colors used and I criss-crossed the streamers differently so at least the cards are a little bit different…

BlueLlamaCard

And here’s a close up of that blue llama…what can I say…I can’t get enough of them LOL!!!  Isn’t it awesome how professional your cards can look with coordinating stamps & dies?  That llama die cut is super cool…
