When I first saw the stamp set inside the back cover of the new Annual Catalog I knew instantly I had to have it – it is called Sharing Sweet Thoughts, has a mason jar theme (perfect for a mason jar addict like myself!) AND the best bit is that it is this year’s Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set – meaning Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to that charity when you purchase this stamp set – LOVE that!

The stamps in this set are very versatile which I love as I can use them year round plus there is a stamp featuring strawberries in there too – perfect for summer projects – my head is whirling with ideas!

But today I decided to use the stamps in this set to create a card with a bit of a vintage, country feel to it, and here it is…

I have a Project Sheet for you below detailing all measurements, the colors I used & full instructions on how to make this card below – look for the red words to find it.

I decided to go with a soft color scheme of browns & blues together with some neutrals and found the perfect background paper in Wood Textures DSP – I just love the soft vintage look this paper gives to the card…

I wanted the lid to have some pattern to it so stamped the lid onto a piece of pretty flowery paper from Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and die cut it & the jar shapes out using dies from Everyday Jars Framelits which coordinate perfectly with this stamp set too!

The inside of the jar was textured using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and behind it are some folded pieces of ribbons – the beautiful new Soft Sky Classic Weave ribbon which is soft & so easy to work with, and the vintage looking Vanilla Lace Trim…

The tags on the jar are both from Corrugated Elements – they are super cute and I used the smooth side of the baggage tag shaped one to stamp ‘Made with Love’ and attached it with some Linen Thread and tied around the jar top…

The flowers and leaves are beautiful new wooden embellishments from Touches of Nature Elements and they are easy to hold in place using Mini Glue Dots.

The brown border was shaped using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder and the pretty blue border was made using the new Decorative Ribbon Border Punch – I love how that punch gives shape to both the top & bottom of your cardstock – such a pretty touch…

I love the new additions to the embellishments line – the wooden elements give so much dimension and those corrugated pieces give a lot of texture – I can see I am going to be getting through a lot of both!
