Today I am showing you the last of my Holiday gift packaging ideas from last weekend’s blog hop which are the Gloves packaged up in those Mason Jars!

Below you will find all the details along with a FREE Project Sheet which contains all colors and supplies that I used to make them – just look for the red words near the end of the post and click on the link – you can then download or print the Project Sheet to keep for reference.

Here are those two glove-stuffed Mason Jars…

They are a great gift idea for handing out during the Holidays because they are thrifty!!!  You can pick up a 12 pack of pint sized mason jars for less than $12 and I found 2 packs of gloves in Target for just $3 – that would make your raw ingredients to make each jar about $2.50 a piece – now that appeals to my thrifty nature LOL!

And then you get to decorate as you wish and your budget dictates…my first one has a bit of a rustic theme going on with it…

I went for the green and black look with a splash of red on Santa so that he stands out.  I used paper from Merry Little Christmas DSP for the lid and tied Jute Twine around the band to really get that rustic thing going…

The tag shape is a die that is also featured in Santa Builder Framelits and I just love the size of that hole so that you can use many different sizes of ribbons/twines with it without having to mess with it.

The boughs were cut using a die from Christmas Staircase Framelits and Santa, his gloves and the sentiment are all stamps from the set Santa’s Suit…

The second jar is a bit more traditional with the color scheme…

This one uses paper from Quilted Christmas for the lid and the pretty Silver Natural Trim tied around the band.

I cut the tag from Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper and added a sparkly snowflake cut using a die from Seasonal Layers Thinlits with a Rhinestone Jewel in the center to add a bit of bling…

Santa’s outfits for both jars were papers from Quilted Christmas and I used Stampin’ Blends to color his skin (Pink Pirouette) and his gloves (Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler).

I plan to buy a 12 pack of mason jars and make these for gifts for teachers and neighbors for Christmas – and did I say that they are fun to make too?  Die cutting…stuffing jars…making tags…playing with pretty papers and glitter…using my new Stampin’ Blends…ALL the stuff I love in one project  :-)
