Cute by the Inch Nugget Wrappers…

I wanted to send my wonderful friend and upline Stella a little something to congratulate her on being appointed to the Advisory Board at Stampin’ Up! – this is a huge honor and she is very well deserving of it…

So I got to thinking about maybe sending her some dressed up Hershey Nuggets and then thought about what stamps would fit on them…and you know what?  That new Hostess set Cute by the Inch came into mind and ta-dah…those little inchies are the perfect size to fit on Avery labels…don’t know what I mean?  Read on for details…

These are so easy and fun to make and you can make them in minutes – they make great teacher and friend gifts and you can theme them for any occasion – they would make fabulous wedding favors…

You will need some Hershey Nuggets and a sheet of Avery Shipping Labels (#5160) which are sized 1″ x 2 5/8″ which you can find at all large retailers.  Take your stamp – Cute by the Inch is a fab size for this project – ink it up and stamp down into the center of each label.  Then take each label and apply it to your nugget – it’s that simple!  Then take your tin and arrange your nuggets inside of it to create the pattern you would like.  The nuggets move around a little in the tin but not enough to notice once the lid is closed – you could attach a little piece of double sided sticky tape or a mini glue dot to hold them in place if desired.

Finally tie around a piece of ribbon or a belly band of cardstock/patterned papers and add a tag if wished – I used part of a stamp from this set and colored it using a marker and then stamped on my sentiment from the brand new set Fabulous Phrases (pg 149) – I punched it out using a Circle Punch, layered it and tied it onto my Razzleberry Satin Ribbon (LOVE that ribbon!) using a piece of Linen Thread…cute, eh?

I love these rectangular window tins and they are the perfect size to hold 12 Hershey Nuggets in a single layer – I love the fact that you can see the nuggets inside which is a very cute feature.  I know you will ask, so this is where I found them – online at www.specialtybottle.com in their tin containers section and they cost around $1 each making them a fab price – alternatively you can make your own nugget box from cardstock – I have a printable tutorial for that which you can find by clicking HERE

On another note – I am participating in a New Catalog Blog Hop that begins at Noon tomorrow – there will be lots of fab free ideas and blog candy for you so be sure to check back then…
