I am loving the infusion of brand new stamps in the Occasions Catalog – it just feels like a breath of fresh air, don’t you think?

Today I am showing you a treat bag that I made using some new products and stamp featured in that catalog and think it is a perfect way to package treats for adults & kids alike…

The treat bag is made using a fab new pack of dies called Mini Treat Bag Thinlits which you can find on pg 9 –  in that pack you get dies to make the actual bag AND a bunch of dies to dress it up – LOVE it!

Here is my foxy treat bag…

Isn’t it CA-UTE?!  I just LOVE that cute fox stamp and he is oh so easy to color using Blendabilities Markers!

The mini treat bag…is super easy to cut out using the two bag dies in Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies (pg 9 Occasions Catalog) – I cut my bag shapes out of Whisper White cardstock and used Sticky Strip to adhere the bag together – this makes for a strong seal…

The black & white striped decor panel…I used a piece of DSP from Stacked with Love Paper Stack (pg 5 Occasions Catalog) for the top stripe and two different tapes from Stacked with Love Designer Washi Tape (pg 5 Occasions Catalog) for the lower two stripes – LOVE how they work so well together!

I then tied around a piece of White Bakers Twine (pg 206) and finished with a bow on the front.

The foxy tag…the fox image is stamped using Memento Black Ink and a cute stamp from the set Hey, Valentine (pg 8 Occasions Catalog) – punched out using the perfectly co-ordinating Note Tag Punch (pg 28 Occasions Catalog) – and colored using Blendabilities Markers from the following collections:

Sarah’s Note – the Skin Tone Assortment of SIX markers is ON SALE THIS WEEK in the Weekly Deals section – regular price $22.95 – ON SALE RIGHT NOW FOR $17.21 – click HERE to find it!

I then added a cute little Basic Pearl (pg 209) to his nose to complete him, and added him to the bag using Dimensionals – I positioned the tag just under the bow to make it look like it is tied on…

The sparkly hearts…are both punched out of Red Glimmer Paper (pg 193) using the Sweetheart Punch (pg 222) and a small heart punch that is one of three that you can find in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (pg 222)…I added the large heart to the bag and…

The finishing touch…I wanted to add a bit of black to the lower part of the bag and so decided to layer my small heart onto a 3/4″ black circle to tie it to the top part and also to add a bit of an impact…

And there is my finished Foxy treat bag just waiting for a scrummy treat to be popped inside…

This is just too cute right down to his little pearly nose! The DAP is the best! I love how you added it to the little treat bag. Of course the hearts are cute but the addition of the black circle just really catches your eye! Thanks for sharing this fun treat bag with us!
