This beautiful pouch houses a grow-able gift – a packet of seeds!
You could put herb, vegetable or flower seeds in there – and what cute favors a bunch of these would make for a spring or summer party, bbq, shower or wedding…
Here is my tutorial so that you can make your very own Seed Packet Pouch– at the end of this tutorial you will find a printable version too so that you can print it out and keep it for reference.

Take a piece of cardstock in the color of your choice and cut it to be 4 1/4″ x 11″…
Place into your Score Tool or Paper Trimmer with score blade inserted with the longest edge along the top – and score at 5 1/2″ and 10″…
And then fold along those score lines…
Add two strips of very strong adhesive tape such as Sticky Strip to each side – be sure to position these strips as close to the edge as you can so that your seed packet will easily slide in and out…
Here you can see mine is nestly nicely between both…
Peel off the backing strip and push firmly together to adhere in place…
And now decorate as wished!
Here is mine…
I used the colors Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive and patterned paper from Pocketful of Posies DSP – my ribbon is a piece of Satin Ribbon in Old Olive and the textured strip was made using my Big Shot and Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder…
Simply pop a packet of seeds inside and it’s ready for giving!
