To carry on the easy-to-make Holiday cards that I am showing you this week, I created a card using a blue and white theme which works fabulously well with snowflakes…brrrr…
This card is perfect for making lots of, and works for either a Christmas or Holiday card…it uses simple stamping and embossing and is a fun one to work on :-)
The card base is Shimmery White which is beautiful for holiday cards as it has a beautiful sheen to it. I used my Polka Dot Background stamp and Whisper White Craft Ink to stamp the background onto Baha Breeze Cardstock to give a ‘falling snow’ effect – I then attached this to the card base.
I then took a stamp from the Big on Christmas stamp set and inked it up using Black Stazon and stamped the image onto Shimmery White. I used my Baha Breeze Ink and a Blender Pen to color in the letters. I then took a snowflake stamp from the Season of Joy stamp set and using my Versamark pad stamped the image onto a piece of Baha Breeze. I then sprinkled on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and used the Heat Tool to set it. I used a Circle Punch to cut it out and attached it to the card using Dimensionals to ‘lift’ it from the paper.
I used my Ticket Corner Punch on the corners and then matted it onto a piece of Baha Breeze using Dimensionals. I then mounted this onto a mat of Shimmery White and adhered this to the card base. I attached a piece of Whisper White Tafetta, tied a knot and voila – a very cute Holiday card that is very easy to mass produce…let it snow… :-)
