And continuing with my Clean & Simple weekend, today’s card features a tree that looks beautiful even on it’s own…

This tree stamp is from one of the sets you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration…I used this tree with other stamps on my card on Friday but today decided to feature it on it’s own.

It is from the set Forest Friends and look how great it looks – what great masculine cards you can make with this one little stamp…

I love how it turned out – I think the tree looks just like it’s a portrait hanging in a gallery!

My card base is Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft) and I did thing I did yesterday – added a 5 1/4″ x 4″ mat to this base using Dimensionals to pop it off…

My tree?  I colored it using Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Markers and stamped it onto Very Vanilla card stock…I cut it out to be 2 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ and matted it onto a piece of Old Olive using Dimensionals…

My bottom brown layer?  I wanted to add a bit of texture so I ran a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock through my Big Shot in my Square Lattice Embossing Folder – love the fabric like texture that folder gives – and added it to my base.

My sentiment?  From the set Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg 157) and just like yesterday, I stamped it onto my layer before adding to my card base.

I love the simplicity of this card and I love that little bit of texture – just gives a little extra pizzazz!

This set, Forest Friends is another one of the sets you can get for FREE right now with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration – here are the images in that CUTE stamp set…
