Happy March 1st y’all!  Can you believe it is March already?  It’s crazy how fast this year is flying by and it will soon be time for Easter eggs, something I was reminded of when I popped into Target last week…

And then I got excited…because I LOVE those addictive little Cadbury’s Mini Eggs…I’m already on my 3rd bag of them LOL!  Speaking of Easter, have you seen the super adorable stamps & dies in the Basket Bunch Bundle?  You can find it in the Occasions Catalog on pg 18 and oh my goodness it is SO fun to play with…stamps & dies for baskets, eggs, bunnies, peeps and flowers – just love it!

Here is card I made using some items from that bundle…oh my those happy bunnies make me smile!

BunnyBasketCard

You will find a link to the printable/downloadable Project Sheet detailing all measurements, the colors I used & full instructions on how to make this card below – look for the red words!

I decided to go with a bit of a pastel color theme and found the perfect gingham patterned paper in Succulent Garden DSP featured on pg 21 of the Occasions Catalog – to be honest I hadn’t noticed that pattern before now but as soon as I found it I realized how perfect it would also be for baby girl cards too…

AND BIG NEWS you could get that pack of Designer Series Paper for FREE during March when you shop with me – or any other pack that you desire – click HERE to find out more!

And then there is that front panel chock full of interesting things…the bunny was stamped using a stamp from Basket Bunch and all those shapes were cut using dies from Basket Builder Framelits – the grass, the basket pieces, eggs and bunny – yup, there is a die for that bunny so you don’t have to fussy cut him out!

And check out that paper stitching on the white square…so neat…and easy because there is a die for that in Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies which is a set of stitched squares, ovals & circles one of my favorite go-to die collections!

Here is a close up of that bottom bunny – I colored in his ears using Markers which is quick & easy…and see that cool phrase?  Another stamp from Basket Bunch…

Sarah’s Tip – check out the white twine – do you see that the bow doesn’t have any dangly bits hanging down?  This gives a nice clean & tidy look to a card or project and is super simple – you just tie your bow in the middle of a piece of twine or ribbon and use the ends to wrap around the card or layer.

And then for more cuteness, here is another angle…I decided to go with a white layer on a white base because I didn’t want to draw the eye to anything other than the front panel.

And here it is again but a bit different…on this card I left the bottom bunny off…I couldn’t decide which I preferred but finally I decided that my vote was for the card with the single bunny here…

But then my girls came into the room and went gaga for the double bunny card…and so now I’m on the fence again LOL!  Which do you prefer?

And here are all of those dies & stamps included in the Basket Bunch stamp set & Basket Builder Framelits Dies – which you can get as a BUNDLE and save 10% – this is a fantastic bundle of products and you can use those basket stamps & dies year round – not just for Easter!
