This week’s project was created by the fabulous Jenn Gulch over at Twins & Twine and she came up with the most adorable treat holding box in the form of a ‘She Shed’ and further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own!
Back to the project – have you heard of She Sheds? It’s the girl version of a man cave! It’s basically a retreat in your backyard that is YOURS to decorate, kit out and spend time in to do whatever your heart desires and I love this inspiration for Jenn’s creation and here it is…isn’t it adorable?
Jenn used a bunch of new products on this project – can you spot them? For starters that front door & the decor adorning and surrounding it were made using stamps & dies from the At Home with You Bundle – the papers used for the door and roof are from Wood Textures DSP Stack and she shaped the edge of that roof using the Ticket Tear Border Punch to give a perfect corrugated look…
You can see another piece of paper from Wood Textures on the side here and check out that great touch of a Gold Binder Clip holding the roof together to make it easy to get to the treats inside without using adhesives that could tear the project…
The door opens and just in case you are wondering, a piece of Window Sheet covers it on the inside so that the treats will not fall out through it – you get to them through the roof!
The stamped images are colored in using various markers and I just love that burst of color on the roof – a bow made using Berry Burst Fine Woven Ribbon – a fun brand new In Color and one of my fav’s! Absolutely wonderful project Jenn – I love it!
