Last week my 3-D Thursday blog hop project was a box that I filled with Notecards & Envelopes to give as a gift and today I am showing you the notecards that are inside it…
I made three different designs, all featuring the same base image with just a few differences and because there is some coloring, they were fun to make – I feel like a kid again when I pick up markers to color!
Here they all are…
I used the same core colors on the Notecards that I used on the box for continuity – those colors are Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Rich Razzleberry, a splash of Gold Glimmer and there is one color I introduced – Melon Mambo for a spark of bright pink!
I wanted the cards to be pretty clean & simple so went with a lot of white space and splashes of color in key places…
The card below uses a band of Delightful Daisy DSP on top of a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper and the tag shape is stamped & punched using items from the new Label Me Pretty Bundle…and for more gold, instead of a sparkly Rhinestone Jewel, I used a pretty gold dot from Metallic Enamel Shapes…
The other two Notecards are the same design except for the sentiments – the ‘hello’ stamp is from Eastern Beauty and the ‘a little thanks’ from One Big Meaning – simply because I wanted a few cards in there that could be used for something other than a thank you!
See that lovely ribbon? It’s Old Olive Mini Chevron – another brand new item that is just beautiful to work with – I love the visual texture it gives projects!
