I saw a cute idea to put a sachet of hot chocolate into a card and decided to come up with my own one…I decided that it should have a cold and frosty theme to give the idea that the hot chocolate will warm you up :-)

This card is very easy to put together and again, is another that you can make lots of very quickly – I have used my favorite holiday colors this year – blue, white and silver…

Take a piece of Baha Breeze cardstock and cut lengthways in half to give 2 pieces that each measure 4 1/4″ x 11″. Score at 5 1/2″ and again at 10″ and fold along the score lines. Tape the little flap down and tie around a piece of ribbon, finishing with a knot – I used Whisper White Tafetta to give a shimmery elegant look. I used Sticky Strip down the sides of the card to make the pouch.

I then stamped my images using Stazon Black ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and colored in the little snowman using Watercolor Wonder Crayons and my Blender Pen. The stamps are from Wishing You Cheer. I then matted the snowman onto a piece of Brushed Silver cardstock and then used Dimensionals to attach him to a piece of DSP from the Ski Slope package which is featured in the current Holiday Mini Catalog. I attached the sentiment to the same DSP using adhesive. I then matted them onto a piece of Shimmery White and then onto another piece of Brushed Silver which I adhered to the card base.

I finished my card with a snowflake that I had die cut from a piece of Brushed Silver using my Big Shot and Snowflakes die set that you can also find at the back of the Holiday Mini – the link to this catalog is at the top right of this page. Put your sachet of Hot Chocolate into the card and voila – what a cute and different Holiday card :-)
