I am having so much fun playing with the new items in the Holiday Catalog! I dug out another bundle of products today and with no idea what to make, started stamping & punching and before I knew it, a card was born!
That’s the great thing about the co-ordinating bundles of stamps and easy ways to cut them out – they make it fun & easy to create! Today I used stamps from Merry Everything along with the co-ordinating Note Tag Punch that you can find on pg 13 of the Holiday Catalog – and you guessed it – you can get both together as a BUNDLE and save some cash!
Here is my card…it became an autumn themed thank you card…
I am so happy we are fast approaching the Fall firstly because I am looking forward to the hot Texas summer being gone…and second I get to play with the beautiful fall colors when I play with paper!
The card base…is Soft Suede onto which I layered a piece of beautiful paper from Color Me Autumn DSP (pg 41 Holiday Catalog) – if you havent gotten that pack of papers yet, trust me – you need it – those papers have beautiful patterns and colors…
The center panel…is a piece of Whisper White that is layered onto Soft Suede – this creates the perfect simple backdrop for some color & feature.
The tag…I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from Merry Everything and punched it out using that perfectly co-ordinating Note Tag Punch – I then added it to my card base using Dimensionals…
The leaves…aren’t they CUTE?! Quick & easy to make using scraps of cardstock and three of the fab dies in Fun Fall Framelits (pg 46 Holiday Catalog)…
The washi tape…co-ordinates BEAUTIFULLY with the colors I decided to use on my card and you can find those 2 styles of tape in Color Me Autumn Washi Tape (pg 41 Holiday Catalog). Washi Tape is just brilliant to use because you tear it – jagged edges are perfect!
The finishing touch…I added a small button from Neutrals Designer Buttons (pg 208) and added a bow made of Linen Thread (pg 206)…
I love the finished look – roll on Autumn – I am sooo ready for you to get here…I was Pumpkin Spiced Latte’s the other day and got excited because the crisp mornings are just around the corner!
