Looking for a last minute gift idea for a friend or Holiday host? I’ve got just the thing – it’s a Holiday Cookie Mix in a Mason Jar! You probably already have the dry ingredients in your pantry and can decorate with any supplies you have on hand…it’s so easy and fun to make that even the little ones can help!

I used stamps from the brilliant Gingerbread Man Bundle to stamp the tag and gingerbread peeps and used dies from that same bundle to cut them out – there is also a die in there to cut out that baking sheet – it looks so realistic when you cut it out of a Silver Foil Sheet!
That pretty plaid paper is from Timeless Plaid DSP – I simply die cut it out using a die from Stylish Shapes Dies, popped it onto the lid and screwed the belly band on top to hold it in place…
You simply layer in the dry ingredients – flour, raising agents, sugars and chocolate chips – print out the instructions and adhere to the back of the jar and then they just need to add wet ingredients, the jar contents, bake and enjoy delicious cookies!
The recipe I used for my layers AND the printable instructions for the back of the jar are also included in my FREE PROJECT SHEET below!
Then you simply decorate, tie a ribbon around the top of the jar and add any tags and embellishments you wish – I used Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints , Real Red & White Baker’s Twine and Real Red 1/2″ Shiny Ribbon on mine…
I also tied on a gingerbread man cookie cutter but if you don’t want to add one it still looks really cute without it!
