A joining of the fabulous Top Note Die and humble Lunch Bag to create a very cute way to package small candies or gifts – here is my Top Note Gift Bag…

It is the perfect size for small candies such as Hershey Kisses or other small gifts and you can make one in literally minutes, making it perfect for putting together those last minute treats.

You can find the Top Note Bigz Die on pg 207 of the main Catalog – it is exclusive and ONLY available from Stampin’ Up!

Please read on for details on how I made it plus a link to my free printable tutorial – remember to leave me a comment for a chance to be entered into my drawing to win BIG blog candy – there will be 4 winners – details of this can be found by clicking HEREyou only have until midnight on Sunday to register so hurry!!!

Isn’t it cute?  My front and back pieces were die cut from Crumb Cake cardstock using my Big Shot and Top Note Bigz Die

I decorated it using papers from Candy Cane Christmas DSP and a piece of gorgeous Real Red Satin Ribbon – both of these items I also die cut using the Top Note Die to get a perfect fit – and yes, that Die slices through ribbon perfectly!

I trimmed my ribbon using a red brad covered in glitter from Brights Glimmer Brads and a red button from Candy Cane Big Designer Buttons that I threaded a piece of Linen Thread through – you can find these gorgeous brads and buttons in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I found my Small Lunch Bags in Target in the gift wrapping aisle – when shopping for these bags, I recommend that you take a piece of cardstock that you have die cut with you, to ensure you get the perfect size of lunch bag…

I created the holes for my handles using the Extra Large Oval Punch (formerly known as the Wide Oval Punch) and made a sentiment using a stamp from Fabulous Phrases and punched it out using the smallest Oval Punch.  I added it to my gift bag and also attached a beautiful snowflake from Little Felt Flurries – these are retired but you can still find them in the Clearance Rack, so be sure to snap them up before they are gone for good!!!

Finally I filled my bag with Hershey Kisses – the delicious seasonal Candy Cane flavor that are available right now – and just in case you are wondering, this Top Note Bag holds almost a full bag of them – yum!

Love this idea – and I just bought the Top Note die, too! I think I’ll make up a few of these for some of the gals at work and fill them with Hersey’s (‘cuz chocolate is always a welcome gift!). Thanks for the idea!

Super cute Sarah as always! I’ve got some small gift bags that I’ve had forever. I’ll have to see if they are the right size.
