It is very unusual for me to choose bright colors for scrapbook pages – I am more of a pastels and earthy tones kind of person – but because this photograph was taken in low light, it needed something bright to compliment it – and I found the perfect embellishments in these gorgeous felt flowers from Flower Fusion and added some sparkle by using Rhinestone Brads…

It is a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page – for the base I used Textured Basic Black cardstock. Using the brand new Circle Scissor Plus I cut a circle out of Rose Red cardstock and then cut a smaller circle from my photograph to layer on the top.

I then used various flowers from my Flower Fusion tin and in the middle of each I used Rhinestone Brads for some sparkle and also used Brads from the Earth Elements and Rich Regals collections.

I just love this photograph – it captures a little girl’s utter delight and joy on her birthday :-)

Supplies I used can all be found in the Spring Summer Catalog as follows:

Circle Scissor Plus & Glass Mat – pg 188
Flower Fusion – pg 177
Rhinestone Brads – Circle Fire & Circle Ice – pg 174
Earth Elements & Rich Regals brads – pg 174
Textured Black Cardstock – pg 153
