Have you seen the fabulous new Bigz Lattice Die? Mine arrived last week and I am loving playing with it – you can find it on pg 198 of the Catalog and it is exclusive to Stampin’ Up! – it is not available anywhere else…you can order this fabulous Die by clicking HERE

I wanted to make some thank you cards to send to customers who had purchased my Shares and decided to use this Die – I came up with a card that has a very clean and simple but elegant look – and it was a breeze to make using this fabulous die :-)

I used different colored cardstocks but the card shown above uses Always Artichoke. I cut my cardstock to the standard card size and scored down the center. I then positioned one side of my card over the Lattice Die and ran it through the Big Shot – I discarded the inner lattice shape leaving me with the ‘window’ in the card front.

I then took a piece of Basic Black and ran this through the Big Shot using the same die which gave me the black lattice insert. To fix it in place, I took my 2-way Glue Pen and dotted glue all over the reverse of the lattice piece and adhered it to a piece of acetate (window sheet) – once the glue was dry, I trimmed the acetate to size and using Mini Glue Dots secured it to the reverse side of the card front.

I stamped my sentiment using a stamp from Pocket Silhouettes and to finish off, put two black brads from Vintage Brads next to it – and there you have a very simple but elegant card which looks fab :-)

I am asked often if the Bigz Dies are compatible with the Cuttlebug – this size works perfectly well with the Bug (I have one and used them in it before I bought my Big Shot) – the sandwich that you use is Plate B – Die – Plate B – if you have any questions please Contact Me and I will be very happy to help…
