I love how Chocolate Chip and Razzleberry work so well together – those colors remind me of some luscious chocolates with a delicious filling inside…yummy…so when I use them in card making I always seem to use them for sweet treat themed items!

I was looking for inspiration today and decided to challenge myself and use a sketch…I had a look through my stamps to see what would work with the sketch and decided on a birthday cake theme…and of course then I just had to use Chocolate Chip & Razzleberry…

My card base is Whisper White and I textured my Chocolate Chip mat using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (pg 214)…I made the squares by punching out pieces of Blushing Bride patterned paper (pg 175) with my 1 3/8″ Square Punch (pg 202)…

My stamps?  All from the fabulous set On a Pedestal (pg 55) – I stamped them and cut them out and mounted them onto my card using Dimensionals…I added small Pearls (pg 188) to the cake stand – I love these pearls as they have glue dots already attached to them which makes using them so easy and they add a cute feature…

I used the Scallop Square Punch to make a mat for my sentiment and used the Eyelet Border Punch to add a little cute edging to my Razzleberry mat…I added a little Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon (pg 191) to finish it off and there is one cute and yummy birthday card.

Below is the sketch that I used…you can find it at  Stampin’ Addicts and they have challenges posted every day – it is a great way to boost your creativity and inspiration and it’s fun taking part too – you can find their challenges by clicking here

Have a wonderful Sunday and I hope you get the chance to enjoy creating and stamping too!
