A great gift idea for anyone on your list…it is a Book filled with Coupons and whilst this is not a new idea, it is a fun one and easy to make…

With the Holidays just around the corner it is a perfect stocking stuffer…instead of purchasing gifts the recipient redeems the coupons for whatever you decide to put in there which is wonderful especially if you are on a budget this holiday season…

Please read on for more details plus the link to the printable coupon template and tutorial showing you how to make this and details of this week’s Blog Candy…

I have made some for my girls for Christmas and have put coupons in there for such things as ‘snuggle with Mom and watch a movie’ or ‘a trip to the coffee shop’ – they LOVE little treats like this…

My Book base is made using Real Red cardstock – I decorated it with patterned papers from Candy Cane Christmas DSP  both inside and out – these papers are just perfect and cutesy for my girls…another paper pack in the Holiday Mini would work beautifully for this project – Deck the Halls DSP…

Inside are 4 coupons – but you can comfortably add more…it would easily hold 8…

How did I make the Coupons? I created them on my computer and so that you can easily make a coupon book, I created a sheet of coupons for you to open/save on your own computer and print out directly onto cardstock…

To find that sheet of Coupons that are ready to print please click HERE

You can embellish each coupon however you wish – I used a cute cardinal image that I punched out from a piece of DSP – and as you can see, there are perforations down the side of the coupon making it easy to tear out of the book – I made these using a ruler and my Paper Piercing Tool

To finish off my front cover I added a piece of beautiful Real Red Satin Ribbon…this ribbon gives a very luxurious look to our projects…I textured a piece of Real Red cardstock using my Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and then punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch that you can find in the Holiday Mini Catalog…

I added a button from Regals Designer Buttons and tied through a piece of embriodery floss.  I stamp ‘enjoy’ is from the set Fabulous Phrases and I punched it out using an Oval Punch

And there you have one easy and fun to make gift, perfect for any one and any occasion…
