One of my favorite stamp sets in the new Occasions Mini Catalog is Valentine Defined…as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it.
Have you seen it? It’s on pg 9 and features some adorable images including a pair of flamingos, a heart filled tree, hearts on a line, plants with hearts…it is super cute!
So I decided to continue the Valentine spirit and start thinking about heart themed projects and this is the card I came up with today…
I used card stock and inks in the colors Rose Red, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla – and see that beautiful ribbon? It’s Rose Red Seam Binding which is a brand new product featured in the Occasions Mini (pg 16) and it is gorgeous to work with…
I used Stampin Markers to color my hearts and stems stamp and then stamped my image twice, using my Stamp-a-majig to ensure that my images were lined up perfectly against one another…I stamped my Love sentiment, punched it out using my Oval Punch and attached it with Dimensionals.
The textured background piece of Vanilla? Created very easily using my Big Shot and the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder – I then matted this onto a piece of plain Vanilla to give a framed look.
Aren’t those flamingos cute? Simply stamped using Rose Red ink and punched out using a 1 1/2″ Circle Punch and then layered onto a Scallop Circle using Dimensionals for a lift…
Valentine Defined is available in both clear and wood mount and you can find it in the online store by clicking HERE – it is an incredibly versatile set as you can use those images long past Valentine’s Day…this is what the stamps in that set look like:
This new stamp set is featured in the brand new Occasions Mini catalog that became available for order yesterday and is only available for a limited time…
