Here is card that I made this morning using this set…
LOVE this card – the card base is Cherry Cobbler onto which I layered a piece of Always Artichoke…
On top of that is a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock that I textured using my Big Shot & Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (pg 189) – I wrapped around a piece of Always Artichoke Seam Binding and tied a bow and then attached it to my card base.
Now that is one quick, easy and eye catching base that you can use for many different holiday stamp sets – I love the elegance of this look – and that the polka dots give the feeling of snow yet in a soft color so that the snowman image pops out at you…
The Snowman…I stamped my snowman from the set Snow Much Fun using Stazon Black ink and colored him in using my Stampin Write Markers – I used the colors Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard and Basic Black – and then added bling…
Shimmer & shine…my bling is Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (pg 158) and I applied it precisely using my Two Way Glue Pen to the snowball, the hat brim and at the base of his boots
To do this, you simply ‘draw’ the glue where you want it, sprinkle on the glitter, shake the excess off and voila – one CUTE & mega sparkly image!
I then added him to my card base using Dimensionals and attached a white button from Neutrals Designer Buttons with Bakers Twine tied through for a cute touch – I love how this button ties in with the snow theme…
The sentiment…the stamp is also from the set Snow Much Fun – I stamped it and punched it out using the Modern Label Punch (pg 183) and added it using Dimensionals…
I love the texture and dimension on this card – it is a fabulous Holiday card and so fun & quick to make.
