Today I dug out my Sent with Love goodies and got busy creating…
What do you think? I wanted my airplane to be flying in the sky and tried all sorts of papers to put behind it…none were just what I was looking for…and then my light bulb went off!!!
I realised that I could get just the look I was after by using the cute new Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (pg 28 of the Spring Catalog) – it is PERFECTLY sized for this airplane stamp and I love the look it gives to my card!
This is a simple card but the embossing, paper pattern and bakers twine give it texture and depth…

I chose to go simple with my colors and went with a Whisper White base – onto this I layered a flat white layer and then I added my cloudy layer – super simple and super effective, I just LOVE the Cloudy Day embossing folder!
I added a band of blue to simulate the blue sky peaking through the clouds – this strip of paper is from Sent with Love DSP – and I tied around a piece of Calypso Coral Bakers Twine and tied it on one side with a knot.
All stamps that I used are from the Sent with Love stamp set – I stamped my sentiment using Early Espresso Ink – I used the same ink to ink up the plane and inked up the heart trail using Calypso Coral ink – and then cut out my images with my Paper Snips and added them to my card using Dimensionals…
