I am loving the new product lines in the new Catalog and especially the new Quatrefancy suite items – they make it so easy to produce fab looking co-ordinating cards…

Today I used three items from that suite – the Mosaic Madness stamp set, Mosaic Punch and the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folders – combined with some of the new In Colors, the results are fantastic…

Take a peek at my card below…and another which is the same design but made using one different color further down…and for a chance to win blog candy, simply leave me a comment to let me know which you prefer…

And what a breeze to put together!  My card base is Coastal Cabana (LOVE that new blue!) and onto it I layered a piece of Baked Brown Sugar…

The textured background…the layer on that is a piece of Whisper White that I textured using the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder (pg 191) – what an easy and effective backdrop…

Those images…I then took out my Mosaic Madness stamp set (pg 123) and used two of the stamps from it to make those gorgeous stamped images – I used the same ink colors as the background cardstocks – for a very co-ordinated look.

How did I cut them out?  Easy peasy – quick & easy to do using the perfectly co-ordinating Mosaic Punch (pg 180) – I simply added them to my card using Dimensionals to give them a lift and added a small Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the intricate one…

The sentiment…is from the Hostess set Express Yourself (pg 205) which I die cut out using a framelit from Bitty Banners Framelits (pg 187) – you can use these framelits to make banners out of many many sentiments which I love because of the versatility...click on the photo below for a closer look…

And from this card you can see how easy it is to create a beautifully co-ordinated card simply by using items from a suite of products specially designed to be used together…and simply by using two strong colors and one neutral…

SARAH’S NOTE – what I LOVE about embossing folders and punches is that you always have them – they don’t run out like patterned papers do – they are a fabulous investment that you can use to create amazing cards for years to come!

To show you a different look simply by switching out one of the core colors, I also made a card using Pear Pizzazz which you can see here – think it gives a more masculine look simply by changing one of the colors…

I’m having a hard time trying to decide which color scheme I prefer…and I want to know what you think…do you prefer the Coastal Cabana look or the Pear Pizzazz???

Leave me a comment to let me know which you prefer and on Monday one comment will be chosen using random.org – and the winner will receive a pack of Large Rhinestone Jewels!

I really like these cards…I favor the Coastal Cabana, but the pear pizzaz does look more masculine. Thanks for sharing

Any shade of green is usually one of my favorite colors, but I think this time the Coastal Cabana card wins my vote. Great cards-love these new products!
