I know that holidays creep up and time is ticking, so I decided to use one of these stamps to show you a very quick but effective Valentine card that takes just minutes to make…
This card is simple & easy to make but I love how striking it is – that red on white really stands out!
The card base…is simply Whisper White onto which I layered another piece of White that was cut to be 4″ x 5 1/4″ – easy & fast…
The white hearts…I then took another piece of White cardstock and cut it to be 3 3/4″ x 5″ – I wanted to add a subtle border of hearts for a backdrop and I had the perfect thing to hand in Adorning Accents Embossing Folders (pg 190) – this is a set of 3 border sized embossing folders including one featuring rows of little hearts and that one was just PERFECT for my card!
The red heart…super fast to make using the Full Heart Punch (pg 183) and a piece of Red Glimmer Paper (pg 156) – I added it using Dimensionals to make it pop out from my card.
The sentiment…is one of the stamps featured in Love You to the Moon and I inked it up using Early Espresso ink and stamped it just underneath my border…
