Sunflowers are one of my favorite flower types and when I saw the Sale-a-bration stamp set Flowering Fields and that one of the flowers could be used as a sunflower, I was hooked and had to have it!

It’s a beautiful set that you can get for FREE during Sale-a-bration simply by spending $50!  This set has 6 flowers/plant stamps and a cute butterfly too!

Here is my card…I really wanted to make a card using spring colors but once I went down the yellow and brown route…well…the regals tones just sort of took over!

It’s a simple little card but I love how the flower just pops out!

The cardstock colors…I used Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive and Whisper White.

The background layer…I stamped that cute butterfly onto the background and wrapped Linen Thread around 3 times and attached it to the base.

The sunflower…well, I’m calling it a sunflower LOL…I stamped it in black and colored it in using my Markers – the colors I used are Old Olive, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe – and added it using Dimensionals to lift it off of the card.

The thank you…is a stamp from another FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called Perfect Pairings – I punched it out with my 1″ Circle Punch and added it using a Dimensional.

The finishing touches…I punched a green circle using my 3/4″ Circle Punch and popped it under the Linen Thread and then tied a bow on top…

And that is it – clean & simple but pretty cute!
