I took part in a Team Facebook Hop last night and our theme was to make a masculine card with a fold…well, with Fathers Day just around the corner (June 19th!) I decided to incorporate that too into my card…
It’s a tricky one because when I went looking for stamps that would work for this card, I realized just how many girlie stamp sets I have that feature flowers & butterflies and a distinct lack of ‘manly’ stamps LOL – but then I came across the perfect thing – instead of featuring a stamp as the card centerpiece, I could use a die instead and with some bold papers & embossing, job done!
And so here is the finished thing…no image stamps…but I think it turned out great…AND at the end of this post you will find a link to my Project Sheet for this card – download it or print it to keep for easy reference!
On that Project Sheet you will find detailed ALL cutting measurements & supplies that I used to make this card so that it is easy for you to make your own!
The colors I used are Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and of course Whisper White – I love how they work together…
Both of the patterned papers are from Regals Stack DSP and I used two different Embossing Folders on this card too – Boho Chic for the top white layer and Lucky Stars for the Suede fold out flap on the left side…
And those yellow stars were made using the smallest star die from Stars Framelits…the gorgeous big ‘happy’ die cut shape is made using a die from Hello You Thinlits (in that pack you get the words ‘hello, you, thanks and happy’)and those banners on the front were shaped using the fab Banner Triple Punch.

And for cute finishing touches, I added yellow & red stars and hearts from Regals Enamel Dots – these are new, fun embellishments that add a very cute touch to your projects…
