Can you believe that it’s almost Halloween?  I wanted to use Halloween as the theme for my customer September thank you cards and that is the card that I am showing you today…

I found the little stamps that I wanted to use in the Holiday Catalog in the set Spooky Fun BUT I also wanted to feature a big spooky tree and there is no tree in that set…so I went looking in my stash of stamps and found just what I needed – there is a tree just perfect for the job in the set Sheltering Tree!

And then I realised that just by changing the colors & patterned papers, you could easily theme this card for fall too…hmmm…I see another card idea forming!

Here is my Halloween themed customer thank you card…

You will find a link to the printable/downloadable Project Sheet detailing all measurements, colors used & instructions on how to make this card below…

I decided to keep my colors pretty traditional for Halloween using Basic Gray, Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie – they just all work so well together!

That tree stamp is from the set Sheltering Tree (pg 96 – Annual Catalog) – this gives a great focal point on the card and it can be used for so many different occasions – LOVE the versatility of that stamp!

The other stamps – the pumpkin, spider & wording – are all from Spooky Fun (pg 52 – Holiday Catalog) – I fussy cut the pumpkin but used banner dies to shape the other two stamped pieces – isn’t that spider fun?

The banner pieces are all shaped using dies and the two patterned pieces are papers from Halloween Night Speciality DSP and that gorgeous sparkly orange paper is a piece of Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper

And a little finishing touch is a piece of twisted bakers twine from Halloween Night Bakers Twine – you get 2 rolls in that pack and it is fab value for money!
