Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a fun project for you which is a bright colorful pocket treat holder just perfect for summer gatherings and events!
This week’s project was created by the fabulous Twila Davis over at Stamp a Little Longer and she came up with the most adorable pocket that you can fill with treats – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own!
And here it is…isn’t is bold, bright and fun? It is a great size – you can pop a gift card in there along with some small sized candy bars – as soon as I saw this I thought how wonderful this project is for favors for kids parties and summer events…
I love how Twila stamped onto Lemon Lime Twist colored patterned paper from Eastern Palace DSP to create her bright look and the Navy stitched trim stands out beautifully against that strong color – the pocket stamp? That is a large stamp from the set Pocketful of Sunshine – you can find it on pg 64 of the Annual Catalog and guess what?
Yup, it has it’s very own set of coordinating dies called Pocket Framelits, making it easy and fun to create pocket projects like this one! And even better – you can get both of those items in a bundle – yay! You can find the links to explore these fun new items in the supply list at the end of this post.
I love the little tag on the side – that gives this pocket a real jeans or pants look and both of the sentiment stamps on this project can be found in the set Eastern Beauty.
That gorgeous ribbon? It is the new Crinkled Seam Binding which is an absolute pleasure to work with…
I think that Twila did a fantastic job on this project and I for sure will be making some of these for when my girls next have some friends over for a sleepover…
