Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a pretty project for you – it’s a Treat Bag decorated with a pretty papers and a rosette with a sunflower and leaves!
This week’s project was created by the amazing & creative Jenn Gulch over at Twins & Twine – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has a detailed supply list, step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own!
And here it is…this is the perfect sized bag to hold some food treats or beauty gifts and of course by switching the papers and stamps you can theme it how you wish for the upcoming Holidays and gift giving…
I love the colors on this bag and the pretty papers which are from Painted Autumn DSP. See the translucent banner strip? It is cut using the Banner Triple Punch from Vellum card stock – if you don’t have that in your stash yet, I highly recommend it – it’s very ‘in’ at the moment!
The rosette in the center is made using the Simply Scored board to create the score lines (full how to instructions are in the Project Sheet) and that sunflower is actually cut from a piece of paper in Painted Autumn DSP. The leaves are cut out using the new Leaf Punch and all piled on top of that pretty rosette…
What I love about projects like this made with pretty papers and tools like punches is that you can whip up a bunch of them in a short amount of time – PERFECT for the busy holidays!
And here is one last look…so pretty and the sentiment goes perfectly on here too! It’s from the stamp set Gourd Goodness and I must admit that I didn’t even notice this stamp in that set – I’ll definitely be digging it out for my thankful Thanksgiving projects now – it always amazing me what you miss at first glance!
