Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for January! We have a pretty set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects – these scream of winter and snow to me!

And you know what? It actually SNOWED in Central Texas on New Year’s Eve – YES!!! That is a rare phenomenon for us and whilst it was snowing I made my card and so of course this is how it turned out…
Oh that coffee cup – I am going to miss this stamp set so much when it retires in JUST TWO DAYS – you have just today and tomorrow to purchase the set Merry Cafe it you want it before it’s gone – it’s been my favorite of the Holiday Catalog and I am going to miss it – click HERE to find it before it’s gone for good!
Pretty die cut snowflakes from Soft Sky and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper! And of course I had to put some sparkles of Rhinestones in the centers to give a bit of an icy look – here’s a close up of them…
I used two embossing folders on this card – Polka Dot Basics on the background and Quilt Top to texture the cup – and popped a glittery star just next to the cup for a bit of a New Year celebratory feel…
And I used two pretty ribbons – Soft Sky Classic Weave and Silver Metallic Edge across the center of the card…
This was one of my favorite color combos to put together and the timing was just perfect for the snow!
