Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week it is my turn to show you a little something and I decided to make a Mini Carton Gift Box which is perfect for gifting homemade cookies & treats for upcoming Valentine’s Day next week…

3DThursdayBanner

I used some brand new products from the fabulous Occasions Catalog on this project and all are detailed below – to make the carton box all you need is one sheet of cardstock, score 8 score lines onto it, cut slits, fold & adhere in place – no special tools needed!  Then you can stamp & decorate however you wish to fit any budget!

Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.

Here is my Mini Carton Gift Box…inside is a cello bag containing some home baked goodies which can be cookies, treats or even small cakes…

ALL of the dies and the stamp used on this project are from the Apron of Love Bundle that you can find on pg 47 of the Occasions Catalog or by clicking HERE – the Baked with Love oven mitt is a stamp from the set Apron of Love and the tools under it and the apron & all apron decorations are cut using dies from Apron Builder Framelits…

BUY THEM TOGETHER as the Apron of Love Bundle to save yourself 10%!  Find the Bundle in the Supply List at the end of this post.

Here is a close up of that apron – I cut it from a sheet of patterned paper that you can find in Bubbles & Fizz DSP which you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase right now during Sale-a-bration and the heart patterned paper behind it is from that pack too.

See that silver striped paper behind the heart paper?  That’s brand new and you can get it for FREE from February 16th!  It’s called Springtime Foils Specialty DSP and is one of the new items being introduced to the Sale-a-bration line up – it is a GORGEOUS pack of papers!

Here’s a closer look at the tag – a Stitched Shapes Circle with the rolling pin and tools die cuts with that stamped oven mitt on top – cute, eh?

And that pretty white edging is so easy to create using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch – I love the lacey look this trim gives.

Here is a birds eye look down – you can see the Cello Bag tucked inside containing the goodies…

And here’s a front view…the handle holes are made using a Circle punch and check out the pretty ribbon – I made small holes with my 1/8″ Circle punch and threaded through some pretty matching Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon – another Sale-a-bration freebie from a pack of 3 ribbons!

And one last look at the side…you can fit quite alot in here – I love how this little carton box turned out!
