Have you seen the sweet Petal Palette Bundle of stamps & dies? You can find it on pg 23 of the Occasions Catalog and it is my absolute favorite Bundle in the Occasions Catalog…
Because it’s great for ALL occasions and not just for cards – you can create some super cute 3-D items with these stamps & dies too and in fact I used it to make my customer and team gifts this week…
And here is what I made…a sweet Post-it Note Holder that folds flat for your purse or sits up easel-style for your desk…
I have a FREE printable/downloadable Project Sheet for you detailing all measurements, the colors I used & full step by step instructions on how to make these sweet note holders below – just look for the red words to find it.
As you can see I used stamps & dies from that Bundle to make this project – it is SO MUCH FUN to work with!
To use it at your desk you simply open it up and the front panel tucks behind the pad of sticky notes as you can see above…
And to take it on your travels you fold the front panel down over the notes…
Until it folds flat…
Here’s what it looks like from the side…
Sweet, eh? ALL stamps & dies I used on this projects are from the Petal Palette Bundle and I colored in the images using Stampin’ Blends Markers – Old Olive Light for the leaves, Crumb Cake Light for the bird and both Light & Dark Calypso Coral for the flowers.
And then I added some sparkle to the dark rose with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen – hard to capture on a photo but in real life it’s sparkly! And here you get a better look at that easel bit…
I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder to texture that front panel and a strip of green & silver paper from Sweet Soiree Specialty DSP & Linen Thread to give the bird something to perch on…
