Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have an amazing treat basket for you just perfect for your summer parties & events!
This week’s project was created by the fabulously creative Jenn Gulch over at Twins & Twine and she came up with this cute project – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own beautiful project.
Further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos that you can save to your computer or print out and have on hand for easy reference PLUS you will find a full list of Supplies used to make this at the end of this post.
And here is what Jenn came up with…a fantastic treat basket with a sea theme!
Isn’t the layering of all of the die cuts on the sea floor amazing?
This project uses BUNCHES of new products including the fabulous Sea Of Textures Bundle of stamps & dies that will be available for customer order from the new Annual Catalog from June 1st – they are in the supply list below but customers will not be able to purchase them until June 1st.
BUT DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN ORDER THEM RIGHT NOW WHEN YOU JOIN STAMPIN’ UP? That’s right – we are in the pre-order period meaning that Demonstrators can order a selection of new Annual Catalog products right now including the Sea of Textures Bundle of stamps & dies used on this project – it’s a huge perk!
So if you can’t wait to get your hands on the new items like these showcased here, click HERE to find out how to join so that you can order your new goodies now!
The base treat basket is made from a sheet of 12×12 cardstock that has been scored to create the folds and then the panels are decorated with patterned paper…
And here is a look down at it – you can see it folds into the center and is held in place with a binder ring that has been decorated with some pretty ribbons – check out the cute compartments for popping things in…
Here is a close up of the sea floor detail – all of those shapes were die cut using dies from Under the Sea Framelits dies and I love the color combo – the browns, blues & greens with a pop of Rich Razzleberry!
See those little beads at the bottom? They are the new Tranquil Textures Sprinkles and I think are a fab finishing touch.
And the octopus – how cool is that? He is stamped using Versamark Ink onto colored cardstock, heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and cut out using a die and popped behind the die cut net…
I think this would make a beautiful centerpiece or favor boxes for a summer themed party or gathering…
