Today I’ve been playing with a FABULOUS new bundle of stamps & dies that will feature in an August promotion called COLOR YOUR SEASON and I am loving these new pretties!
The stamp set is called BLENDED SEASONS and contains 12 stamps that have images that are exactly that – themed for the seasons along with phrases in a pretty font. I decided to use the holiday images in the stamp set to create a Christmas card and here is how it turned out…
I wanted to create a Church window look for my Christmas card and a piece of printed vellum from Graceful Glass DSP was perfect to create that look – I layered it over a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to get a neutral through-the-window background.
The bell and holly stamps are from Blended Seasons and I colored them using Stampin’ Blends Markers adding a Red Rhinestone Jewel to the top of that bow…
And here is a zoom out look at the rest of the banner – I edged it with Sparkle Glimmer Paper which I shaped with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and underneath wrapped around a piece of Granny Apple Textured Weave Ribbon with some Silver Bakers Twine across it…
Down the side I added a tag made using a stamp from Itty Bitty Greetings and layered it on top of some leaf & swirl die cuts using dies from Stitched Seasons Framelits…
And here is a close up of the embossed red layer – this was created using the Tufted Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder which gives it a beautifully rich & deep texture…
And in that photo above you can see how sparkly that glimmer paper is along with the stitching detail on the edge of the die cut window – I am so happy we have more stitched dies!
And here is a last side view…I love this bundle of stamps & dies and cannot wait for it to be released to customers!
