Welcome to 3-D Thursday and because there are 5 weeks in August, this week you get a BONUS – you get to see FOUR projects today PLUS I HAVE SOME BLOG CANDY UP FOR GRABS FOR ONE LUCKY PERSON – read on for the details!
We were all tasked with using a Stampin Up Cellophane Bag to create a little something and what I came up with is below – to find out what my team mates made, please click on the ‘next’ button at the end of this post – enjoy the tour!
And this is what I created…some Halloween Spooky treats using some FUN new products from the fab Holiday Catalog!
I used the 2″ x 8″ sized Cellophane Bags on my projects that you can find by clicking HERE and as you can see, you can fit a bunch of yummy treats in them – I stuffed mine with some halloweeny colored Hershey Kisses…
The tag part is made using a stamp from the new Halloween set Spooky Sweets from the Holiday Catalog and check out those bats…
They were cut out using the new Spooky Bats Punch which is designed to go with this stamp set (yup, there’s a Bundle with these two in it to save 10%!).
The base tag was cut using the Everyday Label Punch and I textured it with the new Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder. A disc of vellum provides a moon vibe and the pretty star patterned paper you see behind it adds the night sky to this project – you can find that paper in the new Toil & Trouble DSP.
Can you see the shine on that black bat?
Hard to capture in a photo but I punched them out of the brand new Black Foil paper. And I just couldn’t decide if I prefered the orange background or the yellow, so I decided to show both of them here today!
BLOG CANDY ALERT – YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A DSP SAMPLER & MAKE & TAKE PACKET!!!

Sarah, I just love what you did with this Halloween set. These are wonderful to do multiples with!
Such a quick and easy treat. Thanks for sharing the idea. I think I would prefer the orange background layer. Seems to stand out more. But then I have to say I love all of the SU colors, some are better pre the season. Anyway it is great idea and will be using it soon.

I like the orange background for the tag on the halloween treat bag
I like the orange! I think it makes it pop more.
They are both nice but I prefer the orange.
Everyone uses orange – the yellow is a refreshing change. Good job!
Super cute. Love the orange.
Super cute! I like them both, but I think I like the orange one better because it matches the orange kisses:-) Thanks for the inspiration!!
I really like both, however, I would select the Crushed Curry, since it isn’t the normal Halloween color. Great job!
Sarah, the treat bag is adorable. I love the moon in either color, but let’s be honest here…it’s those bats that really steal the show!
Cute idea. Will keep this idea in my Halloween file. Depending on the candy whether it would be orange or yellow. Like them both.
I love the treat bag, think I prefer the orange one just because i associate orange with Halloween but the yellow one is pretty darn cute too!
I like the orange, For me orange is more of the Halloween and Fall color. Thanks for the chance to win.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Sarah, thanks for you 3-D share…I love Yellow but Orange is good as well and I just love the Fall.
Adorable gift bags, Sarah! Thanks for the great inspiration. My favorite would be the orange as I think it makes the DSP stand out more. They are both so cute & have made me crave chocolate!!????
Oh These are adorable ! The orange caught my eye first so I would go with that but both are cute!
I like the orange better,,,,but love the vellum moon
Sarah, these are so cute! I love the pumpkin pie ones best. That’s the color I always use at Halloween because it reminds me of the harvest moons we have. Thank you for the inspiration. I just found you on Pinterest and am subscribing to your site.
