Welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for December! We have a festive set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects!
Talk about Christmas colors! Red, dark green, light green and gold foil – so of course I had to use them to make a Holiday card and here it is…
I also incorporated some neutrals that we are allowed to use on our projects – Black, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla – to provide a few of the core features.
One of my favorites of which is the corrugated background which is SUPER easy to create using the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder…
And the beautiful leaping deer was cut using a die from Detailed Deer Thinlits – I love how he appears to be leaping over the greenery and past a pretty stitched oval window…
‘Joy’ was stamped in black using a stamp from Feathers and Frost and the greenery pieces were cut using dies from Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies.
And check out the beautiful gold accent swirly flowery bits – they were cut out using a die from Detailed Deer Thinlits…
And finally I used a Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blends Marker to add color to some Pearl Jewels and dotted them around my card.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today and be sure to take the whole hop by using the buttons below to continue in a circle – you can either go backwards to Bonnie or forwards to Barb – there are A LOT of pretty cards to give you some inspiration!
Here are the supplies I used to make this card – click on any of the products below to find them in my Stampin’ Up! online store:
