Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a BRAND NEW DESIGNER debuting with us – please join me in giving SUSAN ITELL from SimpleStampin.com a very warm welcome to our design team – she is fabulously talented and we feel very honored to have her on board :-)
Our lovely Jenn Gulch has left our team as she has returned to school to study Nursing – lots of luck and successful wishes to Jenn! She is still planning to stay a demonstrator and stamp so you will see her beautiful work from time to time – which left us with a hole to fill and Susan graciously agreed to join us and I am SO excited for you to see this talented lady’s work!
Jumping in headfirst, this week’s project was created by Susan and you can find her blog and check out her amazing work at Simple Stampin – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create your own beautiful project.
And here is what she came up with…a pretty way to gift package a check or cash this Christmas time!
WOWZERS those snowflakes are just gorgeous! Susan die cut them out of Glimmer, Foil & Vellum Papers along with cardstock and then layered them on top of one another.
ALL of the snowflakes were die cut using a set of dies ONLY AVAILABLE DURING NOVEMBER called SNOWFALL THINLITS – here they are individually laid out and check out how she colored the center Pearl with a Blends Marker – did you know you can do that?
Here are the snowflake dies that you get in that set of SNOWFALL THINLITS – IF YOU WANT THIS SET OF DIES, YOU MUST PURCHASE IT TODAY OR TOMORROW – they will no longer be available after NOVEMBER 30th!
And here is the ordering information – click on the blue words below to see them in the online store…
- 149692 Snowfall Thinlits Dies – set of 20 fabulous dies!
Here’s another look at these gorgeous layered snowflakes – silver on the left and gold on the right – I cannot decide which is my fav!
These check/cash gift holders are super easy to make using very few supplies which is perfect for this busy time of year!
I love the elegance of the above snowflake ones and to show you how different they can look depending on the papers & embellies you use, here is a fun one she made that features the cute Santa’s Workshop suite…
I LOVE that slide off Santa belly band!
