welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop for February! We have a Valentine themed set of colors to work with this month and the challenge is that we have to use ALL of these colors on our projects!
Those colors simply scream of Valentine’s Day and so I had to oblige but in a bit of a different way – I wanted to make a card that was not fru-fru and had alot of clean & simple elements to it…
I used the Puzzle Pieces die to cut the jigsaw puzzle pieces and assembled my jigsaw onto a square of white cardstock – super easy & fun to do!
How cute is this?!! That solid stamped image you see was stamped using Early Espresso Ink and die cut out using a coordinating die from Puzzle Pieces Thinlits – and you can see that I snuck a black die cut piece behind it too…
The words ‘love you’ were die cut using dies from Well Written Framelits Dies and attached to a Stitched Shapes Square mat.
See the texture on the brown layer? Super easy to create using the Subtles Embossing Folder.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today and be sure to take the whole hop by using the buttons below to continue in a circle – you can either go backwards to Jo Anne or forwards to Tami – there are A LOT of pretty cards to give you some inspiration!
