Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a fantastic & yummy project for you for Easter!
This week’s project was created by the fabulously talented Debbie Henderson over at Debbie’s Designs and she came up with this fabulous project – further down this post you will find a link to the FREE Project Sheet that has step by step instructions & color photos so that you can create one of your own.
And here is what Debbie came up with…
How GORGEOUS is this? It’s a Sweet Cup that you can find on pg 15 of the Occasions Catalog that has been transformed using pretty Designer Series Paper and LOTS of beautiful flowers & leaves to create an Easter basket!
I love how an egg sits on the top of it and when you lift that lid off…
There’s room for more inside! They are one of my most favorite Easter Treats…that and their small cousins, the Mini Eggs!
Check on the ribbon tied on the handle – it’s the Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon that has been colored using a Pineapple Punch Stampin Blends Marker – did you know you can do that with those markers?
It’s a great way to customize white ribbons!
And here’s a peek down at those flowers – stamped & punched out using items from the Pop of Petals Bundle…
I absolutely adore how pretty and spring like this basket is – even down to that cute bunny on the front…
Here is what creates the base of this fun basket – a Sweet Cup awaiting transformation into something beautiful – click on the blue words below to find them in the store:
- 148573 Sweet Cups (pack of 10) – $8.50
Want to make some of your own? I plan to – in fact I just ordered my pack of Sweet Cups before they go out of stock as they are going to be great for Easter!
